Shredits allows you to shoot straight from the app or choose from videos in your camera roll. This means you can easily make an edit on your laptop and send it to yourself, to then upload to Shredits and rack up those fist-bumps!
Step 1 – Go out, shred and be rad.
Gather your fellow shredders and hit the slopes with a camera. Take it in turns to film each other throughout the day so you get lots of shots to choose from later.
Step 2 – Make your edit!
Remember – Shredits can be up to 15 seconds long, so keep it short and sweet. Any who, people’s attention spans are fantastically short these days. Include music, a few transitions and presto – we can already see your vote count rising.
Step 3 – Export a very small file
If you’re using a pro-editing program, you should be given the option to export to your device of choice. If not, see if your program can export a very small file, which you will be able to email yourself (max is usually 25MB).
Step 4 – Email yourself!
Now send yourself an email with your 15 second Shredit attached. Also, why not send yourself a little message? It’s not that weird…
Step 5 – Download the video on your Phone and upload it to Shredits!
Once your email has sent, wait for it to come through on your Phone and download it into your camera roll. Now you can upload it to Shredits!
We hope you found this post useful! Now get Shrediting, follow shredders!
